East Texas Ultra

The East Texas Ultra is a trail run event held at the Mineola Nature Preserve in Mineola, Texas. The event offers several distances on a course that runs through shady piney trails.

The race format is loop-based, with the 50K consisting of seven loops, the 28K of four loops, the 14K of two loops, and the 7K of one loop. This is a cupless event; participants must bring their own bottles or cups to refill at water stations.

All finishers receive a collectible finisher medal. Participants in the 50K distance have their distance inscribed on the medal, and 7K Ruck finishers receive a special patch. The event is part of the Texas Ultra Series, where finisher medals from each series race combine to form a map of Texas.
