The Duval Dam Buster is a trail running event held near Armidale in the New England High Country. The next scheduled event is on Sunday 20 September 2026. The race starts from the Dumaresq Dam picnic area and begins at about 1000 m above sea level.
Distances offered include:
- 3 km open to children, adults and families
- 8 km
- 16 km
- 28 km
- 50 km
All events marshal at the Dumaresq Dam picnic area before separating onto their respective courses. The 16 km, 28 km and 50 km courses include an ascent and a return descent and include sections that loop around local terrain. The 50 km event is listed with the Australian Ultra Runners Association. The 50 km Hendo Hustle is ITRA listed and awards 1 ITRA point; the 28 km event is currently under evaluation by ITRA.
The event is hosted by Armidale Athletics Club and has been supported by local sponsors since its inception in 2018.
