Dunedin Veterans Day 5K, 10K and Kids HONOR Dash

The Dunedin Veterans Day event on November 8, 2026 features community running events that honor USA veterans. The event starts and finishes at the Dunedin Hale Center, 330 Douglas Avenue, directly across from Dunedin Stadium and near the local VFW.

Distances offered include:

  • 5K for runners or walkers
  • 10K run, two loop course of the 5K route
  • Kids Honor Runs, dashes for children ages 0 to 12 separated by size

The course uses the fully paved Pinellas Trail on an out and back alignment that is stroller friendly. Race management separates children by size for the kids dashes and allows parents to accompany very young participants. Law enforcement will be positioned at intersections along the route. Parking is available at the Hale Center and at the Dunedin Library.

All registrants receive an American themed finisher medal. 5K and 10K participants receive a RUN FLORIDA promotional shirt at check in; youth distances do not include shirts. Framed awards are presented to the top finishers in the 5K for the first 15 males and first 15 females. Electronic timing is used and results are posted later on the event website. The Downtown Dunedin Mardi Gras 15K

Celebrate Mardi Gras on the flat, paved Pinellas Trail with 5K, 10K or 15K options hosted at HOB Brewing Company in Dunedin. Limited to 200 runners, all finishers get a medal and 21 plus registrants enjoy a complimentary beer.

Turtle Trot 10K

Join the Turtle Trot 10K and 5K at SunWest Park on April 11 for scenic paved loops around old salt mines, perfect for runners and walkers. All finishers get awards and proceeds benefit Pasco Parks adaptive programs in memory of a staffer.

Run the Dunedin Oktoberfest 5K or 10K along the scenic Pinellas Trail, finishing at HOB Brewing for postrace Oktoberfest vibes. Stroller and dog friendly with a beer armband for 21 and over and finisher shirt and medal.

Downtown Dunedin Holiday 15K with Toy Drive

Holiday races in downtown Dunedin at HOB Brewing Company offer 5K, 10K (2 loops) and 15K (3 loops) on a paved, timed course along the Pinellas Trail, with medals, event shirts and a post-race beer for participants over 21.
