Dunedin Veterans Day 5K, 10K and Kids Honor Runs

The event takes place on November 8, 2026 in Dunedin, Florida, with the start and finish at the Dunedin Hale Center, 330 Douglas Avenue, directly across from Dunedin Stadium and near the VFW in downtown Dunedin.

Distances offered:

  • 5K run or walk on the fully paved Pinellas Trail.
  • 10K run using two loops of the 5K route.
  • 150 yards Kids Honor Runs separated by child size.

The Pinellas Trail course is fully paved, stroller friendly, and configured as an out-and-back heading north from the Hale Center. Children run on the trail with parents welcome to accompany them; youth entries receive a finisher's medal but no shirt. 5K and 10K registrants receive a RUN FLORIDA promotional shirt at check in. All registrants receive American themed finisher medals and framed awards are presented to the first 15 male and first 15 female finishers in the 5K.

Race timing uses an electronic race splitter system; the event is promoted as a non-competitive, celebratory run. Law enforcement will be positioned at intersections along the route and the event is co-sponsored by the City of Dunedin. Parking is available free at the Hale Center and at the Dunedin Library. Race results are posted later the same afternoon on the event website. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
