Drummer Hill Trail Races
Drummer Hill Trail Races take place in Keene, NH and use a 12.5K loop that runners may repeat to form longer distances. Entrants may choose how many laps to run; a single loop, multiple laps, or the full four laps are options. No runner will be penalized for not completing the number of laps they signed up for, and additional laps will be recorded.
The course mixes technical single track and old jeep roads and includes noticeable elevation change. The surface is natural trail rather than paved or rail-trail. Runners should expect rocks, roots, fallen trees, stream crossings, scenic woodland sections, and possible wildlife sightings.
Available race support is centered at the start/finish area and at a midpoint on course. Drop bags may be left at the start/finish for access between laps. Portable toilets will be provided at the start/finish. Aid offerings include water, Tailwind, soda, gels, cookies, bananas, chips, and candy. This is a cupless event; participants should bring a hydration vest or handheld bottle.
Parking is at Fuller Elementary School, 422 Elm St, Keene, NH 03431, and the race start is a short walk away on Drummer Rd. Organizers state there are no refunds or deferrals and that registration closes May 15. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
