Drummer Hill Trail Races : Keene, NH, May 23, 2026

Drummer Hill Trail Races are lap-based trail events held on a revised course that includes portions of previous routes. The event uses a 12.5 kilometer loop and allows entrants to choose how many laps to run, creating multiple distance options.

Distances offered:

  • 12.5 km single lap
  • 25 km two laps
  • 37.5 km three laps
  • 50 km four laps

The course ranges from technical single track to old jeep roads and includes significant elevation change. The terrain is unpaved and wooded, with rocks, roots, fallen trees, stream crossings, and potential wildlife sightings. The organizer emphasizes that this is a true trail environment rather than renovated rail trails or paved paths.

Logistics note that there is parking at Fuller Elementary School, 422 Elm St, Keene, NH 03431, and the start area is a short walk away on Drummer Rd; participants are asked not to park on Drummer Rd. Drop bags may be left at the start/finish area and port-a-potties are provided there.

Aid will be available at the start/finish area and at a midpoint on the course with offerings such as water, Tailwind, soda, gels, cookies, bananas, chips, and candy. The event is cupless, so participants should bring a hydration vest or a hand-held bottle. Registration has a stated close date and there are no refunds or deferrals.
