Drummer Hill Trail Races are held on a revised course that includes sections of previous routes. Runners choose how many 12.5k laps to complete, with finish records adjusted if a runner completes more or fewer laps than entered.

Distances offered:

  • 50K (four 12.5k laps)
  • 37.5K (three 12.5k laps)
  • 25K (two 12.5k laps)
  • 12.5K (one 12.5k lap)

The course runs on natural trail surfaces ranging from technical single track to old jeep roads, with notable elevation change. The route is not paved or on renovated rail trail and includes rocks, roots, fallen trees, stream crossings, and varied scenery that may include wildlife sightings.

Logistics note that parking is at Fuller Elementary School, 422 Elm St, with the start area a short walk away on Drummer Rd; participants are asked not to park on Drummer Rd. Drop bags may be left at the start/finish area and port a potties are provided there. Aid is available at the start/finish and at a midpoint with water, Tailwind, soda, gels, cookies, bananas, chips, and candy.
