Event

The Donald Dash Trail Run is scheduled for May 2, 2026, at Donald County Park in Mount Horeb, Wisconsin. It is the first race in the Savanna Series trail runs. The event offers two distance options:

  • 15 km

Registration is limited to about 300 participants. One hundred percent of race proceeds are donated to Friends of Donald Park, with funds earmarked for trail maintenance and repair. Course record breakers receive cash payouts.

Course and logistics

The course includes prairie, single-track sections, sand, slick bridges, and hills. Aid stations on course provide water, energy drinks, and energy food. The race uses chip timing and provides race photos. Awards include overall male and female awards (locally crafted), age-group awards, prizes, and door prizes.
