The route follows Dollar Glen, crosses the Burn of Sorrow, and climbs to Saddle Hill (checkpoint NN 955005). It continues over Whitewisp Hill (NN 955014), Tarmangie Hill (NN 943014), around Skythorn Hill and up Andrew Gannel (NN 919005). From Andrew Gannel the course turns toward King Seat (NS 936998) and Bank Hill (NS 954992) before returning via Dollar Glen to the Cricket Pavilion.
