Dollar Hill Race

The Dollar Hill Race is a fell running event held in Dollar, Scotland. The course covers a distance of 15.96 km and is classified as an AM category race. The event starts and finishes at the Cricket Pavilion at Dollar Academy. Participants can register in advance through SiEntries or enter on the day of the race.

The route features significant elevation changes as it traverses several summits in the Ochil Hills. From the start behind the Academy, the course enters Dollar Glen and crosses the Burn of Sorrow. Runners encounter a steep climb up to Saddle Hill, followed by the summits of Whitewisp Hill and Tarmangie Hill. The path continues around Skythorn Hill to reach the peak of Andrew Gannel.

The final stages of the race directed by marshals at key checkpoints include a descent from Andrew Gannel followed by a 400-foot climb onto Kings Seat. From there, the path leads over Bank Hill before returning through Dollar Glen to the finish line.

Participants must carry specific safety equipment, which is checked during registration. Required kit includes:
