About the race
The Trailspire Ultra is a seven hour endurance event held on 6 February 2027 in the grounds of Callander Park, Falkirk. The event uses a looped course that combines rolling trails, woodland paths, and views of Callander House. Participants may run solo or in relay teams and aim to complete as many laps as possible within the seven hour period. Participants must complete their final lap for it to count.
Distances:
- Main loop 4.14 miles with 277 ft of elevation
- Smaller flat option 1 km for use in the final hour
Entry categories include Solo, 2 person relay, and 3 person relay. The event provides a fully marked route, marshals, water stations at the start and at the halfway point, on-course food items such as bananas and oranges, Active Root hydration, and a covered area for food and spare kit. A tented village and campervan parking are available for participant setups. Support services include professional first aid, live tracking and live results, open and female toilets, a free massage area, live music and a compere, and supplier stalls selling running gear. Awards include a finishers medal and trophies for overall and age category placings, plus team trophies. The event is insured and offers a choice of a long sleeved T-shirt or a donation of equivalent value to the chosen charity. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
