DirtRun In The Dark - Race 1

DirtRun In The Dark takes place on 11 November 2026 at The Wyre Forest, Callow Hill Visitor Centre in Kidderminster. The event uses an off-road route that covers 10 km in two laps along tracks and trails run at night.

Torches are compulsory for all competitors. Canicross is permitted on the course. The minimum age for participants is 14 years on race day.

Competitors are entered into male and female categories. Prizes are awarded to the first three finishers in each gender category; there are no age category prizes. All finishers receive a medal and finish goodies.

Toilets are available on site while the visitor centre cafe will not be open. A self-service water refill point is provided at the half distance for the 10 km race; a water container with tap and cups will be available.

Places are limited; the event listing shows a total of 60 places. The organiser’s withdrawal policy states that no refunds are issued under any circumstances, but an entry may be transferred once to another DirtRun event if the organiser is notified before the event takes place. An annual off road event at Cannock Chase featuring a chip timed five mile race and a two mile fun run with medals, age and team prizes, and a cash award for course records.

A short pairs race on Haddon Hill in Carding Mill Valley where one runner sprints to the top, tags a partner, and the partner runs back down. Entries are on the day only at £10 per pair and the minimum age is over 12.

An obstacle 5k at Worcester Racecourse on 18 July 2026 with mixed grass and pavement sections. Participants must be 13 or older, there is a £50 minimum fundraising target, and onsite facilities include toilets and refreshments.

Trail races of 10 mile and 5 mile in Aymestrey on 19 July 2026, with a climb to the Iron Age hillfort at Croft Ambrey. Routes are fully marked and marshalled with water stations, on the day entries if capacity and a juniors 2 km race.
