Delaware Trail Fest

Delaware Trail Fest takes place at Lums Pond State Park in Bear, Delaware. The event features multiple trail formats around the lake, chip timing, age graded results, and on course aid stations. The race uses an age grading formula so competitors are compared across age and gender.

Distances include:

• 12 Hour Lone Wolf: laps within 12 hour time limit; lap approx 7.35 miles
• 12 Hour 4 Person Relay: team laps within 12 hour time limit; one runner at a time
• 24KM: two laps around the lake
• 12KM: one lap around the lake

All distances are hiker friendly. Course surfaces are approximately 70% single track, 10% gravel and 20% wider trails, with mostly flat sections and some rolling terrain. The planned route uses the Swamp Forest Trail with possible small adjustments to avoid wet sections and meet target distances.

Aid stations are spaced about 3 to 4 miles apart; water and Gatorade will be available and a main aid station is located at the start/finish. Runners should carry personal hydration and any specific gels they require. Timing is chip based; bibs must be worn visible on the front and not folded.

Bibs and event swag are available on race day only. Refunds are available up to 30 days before the event with a $10 processing deduction; no refunds or deferrals within 30 days.
