Delaware Trail Fest
Delaware Trail Fest is a trail running festival held at Lums Pond State Park in Bear, Delaware on October 17, 2026. The event offers multiple formats including single-lap distances and 12-hour endurance formats, with hiker friendly and relay options. A generous time limit is applied to all events.
The course uses the Swamp Forest Trail and is described as fast and mostly flat, with about 70% single track, 10% gravel, and 20% wider trails, providing lakeside views and minimal elevation change. Aid stations are spaced roughly every 3 to 4 miles and supply water, Gatorade, and standard trail fare. The main aid station is at the start/finish and a secondary station is located at mile 4. Headlamps are required for late laps.
Timing is chip based by 2Lraceservices and results are available live. The event uses an Age and Gender multiplier that can affect final rankings. The festival is UltraSignup ranked.
