About the race
The Custer Trail Walk/Run/Roll is a family-friendly community event held at Clark at Keller Lake in Grand Rapids, Michigan (2431 Forest Hill Ave SE). Participants choose between a scenic 5K route—three loops around the trail—or a gentle 1-mile loop suitable for residents and kids. A remote participation option is available in Franklin for those who wish to take part from indoors or outdoors.
The event features food and beverages, sweet treats, and post-race entertainment, and celebrates the Clark Foundation’s 30th anniversary while supporting Benevolent Care. The goal is $30,000 with about 300 participants. The atmosphere emphasizes community participation and honoring a long-standing legacy.
