Custer Trail Walk/Run/Roll

The Custer Trail Walk/Run/Roll is a community event supporting Benevolent Care at Clark and marking the 30th anniversary of the Clark Foundation. The event was postponed from October 11, 2025 and has been rescheduled for spring 2026; a new date will be announced.

The event takes place at Clark at Keller Lake, 2431 Forest Hill Ave SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546. Participants can choose between the following course options:

  • 5K scenic route, three loops around the trail
  • 1-mile loop ideal for residents and children

A remote participation option is available at Franklin for those who wish to join indoors or outdoors from afar. Food and beverages will be provided along the route, with sweet treats and entertainment after the event. The early bird registration fee is $30.

Organizers have set a fundraising goal of $30,000 and a participation target of 300 people. Registered participants were given options when the event was postponed: keep registration for the new date (registrations will transfer once set), donate the registration fee to the Foundation, or request a refund.
