Curfew Run

Berwick-upon-Tweed, United Kingdom • 9 Jul 2025

The Curfew Run is an annual running event held in Berwick-upon-Tweed, scheduled for July 9, 2025. Established in 1996, the race challenges participants aged 13 and over to complete a circuit around the historic Elizabethan Walls within 13 minutes, the time it takes for the Curfew Bells to toll. The event follows the Curfew Fun Run, a family-friendly 1.28-mile race designed for children 12 and under, families, and adult fun runners. Both races feature the traditional bell ringing by the Berwick Bell Ringers, adding a unique historic atmosphere. The event is organized by Tweed Striders and attracts up to 150 runners for the main race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
