Hirsel 5k
The Presenting Coldstream 5K Jog/Run takes place on 20 Sep 2026 in the Hirsel landscape near Coldstream. The event is a fundraising trail run for the local civic week and follows tracks through woodland and the old golf course. The course starts and finishes at the old Hirsel Golf Club and will be marshalled by volunteers; participants take part at their own risk and must follow marshals instructions as a condition of entry. A route map will be posted on the event Facebook page when finalised. Participants are encouraged to note their own running times.
Entry details are provided for a 5k distance with fees set at £10 for the standard entry and £5 for under 15s. No refunds will be given. Online entries are preferred but sign up on the day is available. Entries close 19 Sep 2026.
Practical information: registration is located outside the old Hirsel Golf Club. Parking at the start point is limited. There are no changing facilities; public toilets are available at the Hirsel homestead or public park. Organisers accept no responsibility for loss of clothing or equipment.
