The Crazy Soles Nipika Trail Run takes place at Nipika Mountain Resort in the Kootenay Rockies on May 30, 2026. The event is set on extensive singletrack trails that are part of the Cross River Canyon Recreation Site. The race is organized in partnership with Crazy Soles, Nipika Mountain Resort, and Recreation Sites and Trails BC, with Travel Columbia Valley listed as a sponsor. The event uses volunteers and presents draw prizes for participants.

The 25 km course is made from a 10 km loop and a 15 km loop that run along the Kootenay and Cross Rivers. The 15 km loop follows the Kootenay Krusher trail on the south network; the 10 km loop uses the north network. The 5 km and 2.5 km loops include singletrack and remain close to the meadow area. Awards are presented for all age classifications in the 25 km, and top male and female in the 15 km and 10 km. Timing is by hand-timing rather than chip timing. Luxury cabin accommodation and primitive camping are available at Nipika; additional accommodation options exist in Radium Hot Springs, about a 35-minute drive away.
