Crazy Soles Nipika Trail Run
This is a trail running event held at Nipika Mountain Resort within the Cross River Canyon Recreation Site near Kootenay National Park. The races use singletrack sections along the Kootenay and Cross Rivers and the resort's north and south trail networks.
The 25 km course combines a 15 km loop and a 10 km loop. The 15 km loop follows the Kootenay Krusher trail on the south network; the 10 km loop runs on the north network. The 5 km and 2.5 km loops include singletrack and stay close to the meadow area.
The event date is Saturday, June 5, 2027. Race package pickup takes place at the Nipika Day Lodge on race day. Registration is scheduled to open in early 2027 via Zone4. Professional timing and results are provided by Zone4.
Distance categories include multiple age groups for the 25 km and single-category divisions for the other distances. The 2.5 km kids' run allows day-of registration. Awards are presented for all age classifications in the 25 km and for top male and female finishers in the 15 km and 10 km. Part of the event proceeds supports the Radium Rotary Mental Health Fund.
