The Cratloe event, organized by the Irish Mountain Running Association, takes place in Cratloe Woods, County Clare. The main race covers approximately 9.8 km with 235 meters of ascent, featuring a mix of fire-road, single track, and wooded paths. The course is fully marked and offers a fast yet technical experience with enjoyable descents and steady climbs.

A shorter 4.1 km route with 85 meters of ascent is also available. The event is part of the Coillte Summer/Autumn Trail League in Munster and requires participants to carry mandatory basic kit, including a showerproof, windproof jacket.
