Event Overview

Course Details
The race uses the Coal & Coke Trail system. The course is a 5 mile out-and-back segment, which forms a 10 mile loop for the longer distance. The surface is 100% flat crushed gravel and pavement on a wide, non-technical double track. There is approximately 145 feet of elevation gain and loss per loop. Crews can set up near the start/finish line from 5:30 AM on race day.
Aid Stations & Support
There are two aid stations: one at the start/finish line and one at the 5-mile turnaround point. They provide organic food options like fruit, chips, candy, cookies, protein pancakes, grilled cheese, and cheese quesadillas, as well as water and an electrolyte mix.
Participant Perks
All finishers receive an etched pint glass, a handmade medal, and a race sticker. Participants also receive a swag bag containing an ice bandana, a sticker, a sample, and other goodies. The top three male and female finishers in each race receive a custom handmade award.
