The Coal & Coke Fireworks 30/10 Miler is scheduled for Saturday, July 11, 2026 in Mt Pleasant, PA. The event is organized by BALS Racing and offers the following distances:

• 30 Miler
• 10 Miler

Course

The race uses the Coal & Coke Trail system with a 5 mile out-and-back that forms a 10 mile loop. Each loop has approximately 145 feet of elevation gain and loss. The surface is non-technical double track, consisting of crushed gravel and pavement.

Aid stations and race services

There are two aid stations: one at the start/finish area and one at the 5 mile turnaround. The start/finish aid station will offer hot organic food options (examples listed by the organizer), organic snacks, water, and an electrolyte mix. The turnaround aid station will provide organic snacks, water, and the same electrolyte mix. There is space near the start/finish and along the trail for crews to set up.

Entries and policies

Registration closes July 9, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET. Pacers are not allowed; exceptions may be granted by the organizer on a case-by-case basis. The organizer does not issue refunds. Registrations may be transferred to the following year or to another runner if needed. A one-year pregnancy deferral is available. Bib transfers can be made up to five days before the race via Ultrasignup.

Swag and awards

Swag bags will include items such as an ice bandana, a sticker, and samples. All finishers receive an etched pint glass, a handmade medal, and a race sticker. The top three male and top three female finishers in the 30 Miler will receive custom handmade awards. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
