The Cliffs of the Neuse Trail Run & Hike takes place at Cliffs of the Neuse State Park in Seven Springs, North Carolina. The event offers five different distances: a 4-mile run, a 4-mile hike, an 8-mile run, a 25K run, and a 50K run.
Courses
The courses start and finish at the big picnic shelter by the lake parking lot. The routes are mostly on single and double-track trails and include a short section of gravel road. The trails feature significant elevation change, several bridges, and views of the river and lake. All courses are marked and timed.

Parking is available in the large lot by the lake. The start/finish area at the picnic shelter has restrooms. Aid stations provide water, and a small meal is offered at the finish line. Finishers receive a sustainable wood medal. Professional photography and videography are provided. Awards are given to the top three overall and first in each age group for each race.
