Circle Endurance Event 3, 6, 12, 24 Hour

The event takes place at Ringgold High School in Ringgold, GA, and is organized by the Chattanooga Track Club. It is a timed track endurance event offering multiple time-limit options where final results are based on total laps completed.

Offered distances and formats:

  • 3 hour event
  • 6 hour event
  • 12 hour event
  • 24 hour event

The event is USATF sanctioned. Runners circle the track repeatedly and are credited 0.25 miles per lap; track mileage is used for official results and may be lower than GPS watch readings. Volunteers will staff an aid station with drinks and snacks, but participants are responsible for their own food and hydration. The event is cup free so participants must bring their own hydration systems, and littering on the course can lead to disqualification.

Crew may assist runners each lap from a designated infield area near the start line. Pacers are not allowed unless they are registered participants. Participants may set up a small pit area or tent on the turf but must not use tent stakes and should weigh down tents.

Awards are given to top finishers by gender and age categories, with special awards for specific distance achievements and for combined performance across the Chattanooga Ultra Championship series. A small RV and car camping section is available near the stadium. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
