Race rules, logistics, and awards

Runners are responsible for their own food and water; volunteers will staff an aid station with drinks and snacks. This is a cup-free event; participants must bring their own hydration systems. Littering on the course may result in disqualification. Each completed lap counts as 0.25 miles; track mileage may be lower than watch mileage, which can read 1-2 miles higher. Race officials may evaluate a participant and decide if they may continue for safety reasons.

Crew may provide support every lap from a designated infield area near the start line. Pacers are not allowed unless they are registered participants. Small tents are permitted in pit areas but no tent stakes are allowed on the turf. Awards include top three male and female in each distance, masters and grandmasters, and specialty recognitions for reaching distance marks (for example, 24 hour - 100 miles). The event is part of the Chattanooga Ultra Championship series with participation and mileage awards across the series. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
