Circle Endurance Event 3, 6, 12, 24 Hour
The event is a series of timed track races held at Ringgold High School in Ringgold, GA and organized by the Chattanooga Track Club. Participants run repeated laps on a turf track and are credited with 0.25 miles per lap for final results.
Distances include:
- 3 Hour
- 6 Hour
- 12 Hour
- 24 Hour
Runners are responsible for their own food and hydration. Volunteers staff an aid station with drinks and snacks, but participants must bring a hydration system because the event is cup free. Littering on the course may result in disqualification.
Crew may support runners each lap from a designated infield area near the start line. Pacers are not allowed unless they are registered participants. Race officials may evaluate runners and make safety calls about continued participation.
A small pit area is allowed for personal gear and a small tent, but no tent stakes are permitted on the turf; tents must be weighed down. Watch mileage will often read higher than official track mileage because of the nature of track running.
Awards are given to top finishers by gender and age groups for each distance. Special recognitions are tied to distance milestones and to the Chattanooga Ultra Championship series for participants who compete across the connected events. The event is USATF sanctioned.
