About the race

The Humanity Direct Chiltern Challenge is a one-day ultra running event held in the scenic Chiltern Hills, starting and finishing at Princes Risborough School in the South East of England. Participants can choose from three distances: 10km, 25km, or 50km, with ascent gains ranging from 258 to 871 meters. The course follows well-marked circular routes using National Trails and footpaths, featuring multiple checkpoints with food and water for longer distances.

The event offers a supportive atmosphere with fully stocked aid stations, medical cover, free parking, transport from the train station, and refreshments at the finish. Entry fees support Humanity Direct, funding vital surgeries for children in developing countries. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
