The Chasewater Christmas Pudding Dash is organised by Nice Work at Chasewater Country Park, Pool Lane, Burntwood, Staffordshire, WS8 7NL. Distances offered are:

  • Junior Run

The course uses compacted trail and paths around Chasewater Reservoir and is described as mostly flat with slight undulations. Route maps and GPX files are available.

Entries, fees and facilities

On-the-day entry fees (subject to availability) are listed as: 10k £25, 5k £25, Junior Run £7. Included for runners are a bespoke medal, free photographs, trophies and prizes for leading runners, and a prize for best dressed runner in festive fancy dress. Event information will be sent to registered entrants prior to race day.

Location, access and charity

Race headquarters is at The Innovation Centre, just off the A5, with onsite parking available (parking charge £3.00 for the day). The park is accessible by car, bicycle and on foot; the nearest railway station is Cannock, with a taxi required from there. The event raises funds for the charity Shelter. Trail 10K and half marathon around Carsington Water on 14 February 2026, with marked kilometres and reservoir loop routes. Entries include a themed medal, water and post-race goodies.

A multi distance running event along the River Severn between Ironbridge and Bridgnorth on 21 February 2026. Distances range from 9 miles to 37 miles with 9.4 mile laps and aid stations every 4.7 miles.

A 9.5km off road race at Kinver Edge and The Rock Houses on 22 February 2026, run as two laps around local trails. Limited to 100 runners, entry fee £18; medals for all and prizes for the top three in each gender.

Take on the Cannock Chase Wildwood Trail Series on 28 Feb 2026 at Birches Valley, a scenic yet testing woodland course with steep climbs, fast descents and technical, muddy trails. Half and 10K with canicross options and eco wooden medals.
