Chase the Pudding is a fundraising run organised by The Will Mackaness Trust on Sunday 21 December 2025. The event takes place on Weymouth Beach, starting from the Pavilion end. The main course is an out-and-back on the sand and is organised as a festive-themed run with a Santa suit requirement for the main event.

Distances

  • 5 km : out-and-back from the Pavilion end to the stones at Greenhill and back.
  • 2 km : out-and-back from the Pavilion end to the Pier Bandstand and back (Chase the Elf, for under 14s).

Entry and eligibility

Entry fees are: Chase the Pudding £15 (plus an optional £5 if a Santa suit is required); Chase the Elf £5. Online entry carries processing and hosting fees to cover the registration provider. The main event is open to entrants aged between 14 and 100 on 21/12/2025. The junior event is open to entrants aged between 4 and 14 on 21/12/2025.

Purpose
