Chase the Pudding 2025 is an annual charity run organised by The Will Mackaness Trust on Sunday 21 December 2025. The event takes place on Weymouth Beach, starting from the Pavilion end. The Will Mackaness Trust supports projects for young people in Weymouth and Portland, including water sport opportunities and other local initiatives.

Race details and entry

Distances offered:

  • 5 km - from the Pavilion end of Weymouth Beach to the stones at Greenhill and back.
  • 2 km - "Chase the Elf" for under 14s, from the Pavilion end to the Pier Bandstand and back.

The 5 km run is associated with participants wearing Santa suits. Entry fees are stated as £15 for Chase the Pudding, with an additional £5 if a suit is required, and £5 for Chase the Elf.
