The Carrock Fell Race on Sunday 8 March 2026 takes place in the Lake District, with the venue at Calebreck Farm, Hesket Newmarket, Wigton (grid reference NY345358). The race is category AS and covers 9 km (5.6 miles) with 500 m climb (1640 ft). The minimum age is 16.

The course starts and finishes at NY345358 and includes checkpoints at Carrock Fell and High Pike. The route is unmarked and runners must navigate between checkpoints without the use of GPS devices or watches. Required FRA kit includes waterproof top and bottoms with taped seams, hat and gloves, a map of the course, a compass, a whistle and food.
The race holds an FRA licence and a permit with associated UK Athletics insurance. Teams are not permitted and there are no junior races.
