Carnlough Quarry Challenge

The event is a 5K multi-terrain race that starts and finishes in the heart of Carnlough village, with the listed venue at McAuleys Bridge Inn. The course follows just under a mile of concrete road before entering a quarry area with loose limestone paths. Runners then face sustained climbs and subsequent descents, a short out-and-back section on the Largy Road, and a final descent through one of the limestone bridges back to the village.

Course features include clear changes of surface, notable elevation changes, and coastal viewpoints that on clear days include views toward Scotland. Parking is available in the village and at the Community Centre.
