Carnegie Harriers Devilla Forest 15

Event details

Carnegie Harriers will hold trail races in Devilla Forest, with start and finish in the grounds of the Scottish Police College at Tulliallan, Kincardine, Fife on 08 Feb 2026. The event includes two distances:

• 15k (approx 9 miles)
• 5k (approx 3.1 miles)

Entrants must be at least 17 years old for the 15k and 13 years old for the 5k in line with UK Athletics rules. These races are pre-entry only with a closing date of 04 Feb 2026. Entry fees are: 15k £20.00 for Scottish Athletics members and £22.00 for non-members; 5k £12.00 for members and £14.00 for non-members. Refunds are not offered, but transfers are possible up to 04 Feb 2026.

Course and race operations

Both routes lie mainly within Devilla Forest. The 2026 routes make greater use of smaller tracks and paths. Surfaces vary and the organisers recommend trail shoes; ordinary trainers may be acceptable in dry conditions and spikes are not suitable. Routes will be marshalled and marked at junctions. Dogs are not permitted.

The 15k route includes a water station at 7k; runners not reaching this point within an hour will be timed out and withdrawn. Race numbers with timing chips are collected from the Games Hall in the Recreation Block from 9.00 am on race day.

Facilities and results

There is parking within the Police College grounds and changing, shower and toilet facilities in the Recreation Hall. Post-race water and snacks will be provided and the Copper Lounge will serve refreshments. All finishers receive a bespoke medal and age-group prizes will be awarded. Chip timing is provided and full results will be published after the event. A donation will be made to Ochils Mountain Rescue Team, who provide first aid cover.
