Courses and race procedures
Both routes use Devilla Forest tracks and paths and are newly routed for 2026 with more use of smaller tracks. The 15k route passes the college grounds and Tulliallan Castle, loops through the forest past the Moor Loch, Peppermill Dam, Keir Burn, a bog section and the Red Squirrel trail. There is a water station at 7k; runners not reaching this point within one hour will be withdrawn. The 5k is an out-and-back route along the north side of the Moor Loch, mostly on forest roads with a short tarmac section.
Both courses are marshalled and waymarked. Devilla is a working forest, so routes may be amended for safety or weather. Dogs are not permitted.
Facilities and other details
Parking is available in the college grounds via the main entrance. Changing, shower and toilet facilities are at the Recreation Hall. Water and post-race snacks are provided at the finish; a venue café will serve refreshments. All finishers receive a bespoke medal; prizes are awarded in age categories. Races are chip timed and results are published after the event. A donation will be made to Ochils Mountain Rescue Team for first aid cover.
