Cannonball Run - Ehrhardt, SC
Cannonball Run is a trail event at Broxton Bridge Plantation organized by Palmetto Ultras. The course is a 3.3 mile loop over dirt roads, double-track trails, and grassy sections with about 49 feet of elevation gain per loop. The looped course returns to the start/finish and a single aid station on each circuit.
Event options include:
- 3.3 mile loop
- 34 hour event
- Last Man Standing format with a 48 minute lap requirement
- Kids registration for ages 14 and under
Primitive camping is included for all participants and includes access to a bathhouse with toilets and hot showers. RV sites and two on‑property bed and breakfast rooms are available through Broxton Bridge. The aid station at the start/finish supplies common race snacks and drinks; participants are expected to carry anything required for the loop. Meals are provided for runners and volunteers; additional meals for guests are available for purchase at a stated price.
Awards and finish recognition are distance based: all participants who complete at least one loop receive a custom medal, runners who reach 100 miles receive a buckle, and the Last Man Standing winner receives an engraved cannonball. The event is scheduled to proceed rain or shine. Bib transfers and optional race insurance are available under stated conditions. Volunteer service can earn partial or full entry discounts.
