Buckingham 10k

The Buckingham 10k is scheduled for 11 October 2026 and takes place in Buckingham Town Centre. The race distance is 10 km and follows a multi-terrain route on footpaths that moves from the town centre into surrounding countryside and through Stowe National Trust property.

The route starts in Buckingham Town Centre and passes Stowe Avenue, Stowe National Trust Gardens and farmland. The course profile is undulating. Once the field leaves the town the route is traffic free. Distance markers are provided every 1K and water stations are located at 3K and 7K. The surface is described as multi-terrain footpaths.

Facilities at the event include toilets and bag storage (not supervised). There are no changing facilities and the course is not accessible for wheelchair users. Parking is available at Cornwalls Meadow car park (MK18 1RP), approximately a three minute walk to the town centre and HQ; payment by card is required at a stated charge of £1.70.

Entries are handled online. On-the-day entry may be possible if spaces remain, with the on-the-day price rising to £30. Stated entry fees are £23.00 affiliated and £25.00 unaffiliated. Minimum age to participate is 11 and refunds are not provided for non-participation. Total places are listed as 250 and the event is organised by Run for the Sky. Medals are given to all finishers and trophies awarded to top places and age-category winners. Profits are donated to local charities including Buckingham Food Bank and Brackley Road Action Group.
