Bryce Canyon Ultras

Bryce Canyon Ultras is a multi-distance trail running event held at Lucky 7 Ranch near Hatch, Utah on September 19, 2026. Courses run around the northern half and western edge of the Paunsaugunt Plateau with most miles between 7,000 and 9,000 ft elevation. Terrain includes wide runnable doubletrack, technical singletrack, canyon climbs, plateau stretches alongside the Sevier River, and steep descents through hoodoo formations on the Thunder Mountain Trail.

Aid stations are strategically located and described as fully stocked with water, electrolyte mixes, snacks and later-station hot food options; portable toilets are provided. Example aid station counts from previous years are given for planning: the 100 mile course listed 15 full aid stations plus water only stations, and the 50 mile course listed 7 full aid stations. Medical volunteers are stationed at the busiest aid stations when available.

Crew and pacer access varies by distance: the 100 mile and 50 mile races allow crew and pacers, the 60K allows crew only, and the 30K and 50K do not allow crew or pacers. Expo and bib pickup take place Friday, September 18, 2026 at Lucky 7 Ranch. Camping is available at the race headquarters with primitive sites, potable water dispensers and on-site showers provided by Geyser Systems for a fee.
