Runners pass through hoodoo amphitheaters and high-plateau open terrain, then return across ranch fields and dirt roads. Footing can be loose on steeper descents.

Aid station coverage varies by distance: the 100-mile course lists 15 full aid stations plus 6 water-only stations; the 50-mile course lists 7 full aid stations plus 3 water-only stations; both 60K and 50K list 5 full plus 2 water-only stations; the 30K lists 2 full plus 1 water-only station. Stations provide water, electrolyte mixes, snacks, portable toilets, and later-station hot food options. Medical volunteers are present at busier stations when possible.

Logistics include an expo and bib pickup on September 18, 2026, at Lucky 7 Ranch (2:00 pm - 7:00 pm). Camping is available at the ranch with tent, RV, and vehicle options and onsite potable water, porta-potties, and paid shower service.
