The Bryce Canyon Ultras are a series of trail races held at Lucky 7 Ranch in Hatch, Utah, on September 19, 2026. The courses run around the northern half and along the western edge of the Paunsaugunt Plateau, with single-track trails and views above and below the hoodoos. The route is at high elevation, with most miles between 7,000 and 9,000 ft. The course is described as technical, and runners are advised to carry a headlamp for early starts.

Logistics and facilities

The start/finish and race headquarters are at Lucky 7 Ranch in Hatch. On-site camping is offered at the ranch with primitive sites, potable water dispensers, porta-potties, and no RV hookups. Wood-burning open fires are not permitted; propane stoves are allowed. A portable shower service is available on-site for a fee. An expo and bib pickup take place the day before the race.

Race operations and rules

Aid station provisions vary by distance (for example, the 100 mile course previously used 15 full aid stations plus 6 water-only stations). Drop bags must be left at the designated location the night before the race and are subject to size rules. Trained medical personnel are stationed at the finish and selected aid stations. Crew and pacer allowances differ by distance: 30K and 50K do not allow crew, 60K allows crew only, and 50 Mile and 100 Mile allow crew and pacers.
