The Bryce Canyon Ultras are trail ultramarathons held September 19, 2026, with the start/finish at Lucky 7 Ranch in Hatch, Utah. The course runs around the northern half and along the western edge of the Paunsaugunt Plateau. Most miles are at high elevation between 7,000 and 9,000 ft on rugged single-track and mountain trails with views above and below hoodoos. Runners are advised the course is technical and a headlamp is required for early morning sections.

Logistics and race services

Expo and bib pickup are scheduled for the day before the race; expo hours are 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Camping is available at Lucky 7 Ranch with primitive sites, potable water, porta-potties, no RV hookups, and a shower trailer. Campsite check-in begins Thursday at 3:00 pm and checkout is Sunday at 10:00 am. Open fires are not permitted; propane stoves are allowed. Published campsite fees apply by category.

Aid station coverage varies by distance (examples include 15 full aid stations plus 6 water-only for the 100 mile and smaller counts for shorter distances). Drop bags must be labeled and left at the designated area by the night before the race; return or shipping options are provided. Crew and pacer rules differ by distance. Timing uses chip and gun times; overall ultra awards are based on gun time. Live tracking is provided via Laurel Timing.
