Broken Goat

Broken Goat is a challenging ultra running event held in the scenic Kootenay Rockies region of British Columbia, Canada, starting at Red Mountain Resort in Rossland. The race features multiple distances, including a 50km ultra that follows the rugged “7 Summits” high alpine trail, traversing peaks, ridges, and alpine meadows with dramatic 360-degree mountain views. The 25km course shares the same start and includes summiting Mount Plewman and crossing Unnecessary Ridge at an average elevation of 2000m. A 12km route climbs to the summit of Red Mountain, offering some of the best single-track trails in the area. The event also includes a kids' race, making it a diverse mountain running experience.
