Broken Goat

Broken Goat is a challenging ultra running event held in the scenic Kootenay Rockies region of British Columbia, Canada, at Red Mountain Resort in Rossland. The race features multiple distances, including a 50K, 25K, and 12K, all traversing rugged alpine terrain along the "7 Summits" high alpine trail. Participants experience dramatic 360-degree mountain views, ridge lines, summits, and alpine meadows.

The 50K is a point-to-point course requiring self-sufficiency for the first 23 km. The 25K includes summiting Mount Plewman and crossing Unnecessary Ridge at an average elevation of 2000m. The 12K starts at the resort base and climbs to Red Mountain's summit, offering some of the best single-track trails in the area.
