Broken Goat is a mountain trail event near Rossland, British Columbia, scheduled for July 17, 2027. Distances offered are:

• 50 km
• 25 km
• 12 km
• 1 km (kids race)

The 50 km and 25 km are point-to-point traverses on the "7 Summits" high alpine trail and include exposed ridgelines and several summits; Old Glory (2376 m) is accessed on the 50 km. Vertical profiles are provided: 50 km ascent 2492 m / descent 2906 m; 25 km ascent 1000 m / descent 1400 m; 12 km ascent/descent 623 m. Runners should be prepared for remote alpine terrain and self-support through long sections of the course.

Aid stations act as mandatory checkpoints and time cut-offs apply; missing a cut-off results in a DNF. Mandatory gear is enforced with random checks: 50 km and 25 km runners must carry both a lightweight jacket and an emergency blanket, a minimum of 1.5 L of fluid and 400 kcal of food at the start; 12 km runners must start with at least 1 L of fluid and 200 kcal. The event is cupless; athletes must bring a reusable cup or hydration system for aid stations.

Shuttles and parking operate for shuttle-eligible distances and drop bags are permitted under size limits. The event follows environmental practices such as compostable aid station supplies, recycling and reusable course marking, and digital waivers.
