Breakneck Point is scheduled for Sunday, May 3, 2026, at University Settlement Camp (30 Cp Lp Rd), Beacon, NY. Open registration capacity is set to 550 total across the two distances. The entry includes the race, post-race food, a Patagonia Cap Cool shirt, and a finisher item (Ragged Cuts medal). Camping is available informally at Settlement Camp on a first-come, first-served basis. The event has a no-refund policy; entrants may switch distances up to one week before race day when space allows, and roll-overs may be granted if organizers are notified at least 30 days before the event.

- 14.5 miles (Half) : ~4,800 ft gain
- 26.4 miles (Full) : ~9,000 ft gain
Course and support
The course runs on jeep trails, single-track, historic estate paths, and winding technical single-track with several steep climbs and descents. It includes exposed sections and pitches that at points require climbing and use of hands; entrants should be seasoned and prepared for technical terrain. Aid stations: Half - Cold Spring (~7.3 miles). Full - Cold Spring (~7.3 miles), University Settlement Camp (~14.4 miles), Sunnyside (~19.8 miles). Aid station provisions include Tailwind, water, Coke, Huma Gel (while supplies last), pretzels, cookies, fruit, and PB/J. Crew support is permitted only at official aid stations; no pacing from crew. Full marathon runners may leave drop bags at University Settlement Camp (about 14.4 miles). Poles are not recommended for some pitches where hands are needed.
