Bondi to Manly Ultra

The Bondi to Manly Ultra is an 80 km point to point running event that follows the Bondi to Manly walking track around Sydney Harbour. The course starts at Bondi Pavilion and finishes at Manly Beach, running along cliff tops, harbour foreshore and through national parks and cultural sites.

Race options include:

  • 80 km solo
  • 2 x 40 km relay (two-person)
  • 4 x 20 km relay (four-person)

The route passes Watsons Bay, South Head, the Hermitage Foreshore Walk, Rushcutters Bay, the Royal Botanic Garden and the Sydney Opera House, and includes a crossing of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. The full course is described as an urban coastal route that moves between city areas and natural reserves.

The course is divided into four legs with published distances and elevation gains: first leg 19 km with 329 m elevation gain to Lyne Park, Rose Bay; second leg 20 km with 360 m gain to Milson Park, North Sydney; third leg 23 km with 326 m gain to Clontarf Reserve, Clontarf; fourth leg 18 km with 256 m gain to Manly Beach via North Head.
