Bishop Hill Races

Kinross, United Kingdom • 1 Mar 2026

Course

The Bishop Hill race follows a short, tough route over a mix of path and hill terrain. The race includes a descent considered one of the most 'fun' in the racing calendar. The weather can be highly variable on the exposed hilltop, so participants should wear or carry full waterproof body cover, a hat, and gloves.

Event Details

The adult race is open to participants over 16 years old, with age category prizes offered up to V60. A junior race for under-16s is also held on a shorter course to a gate and back; it starts at 1 PM and requires on-the-day registration for £1. Post-race hospitality includes soup, and there will be prizes for the adult categories.

Records

In 2023, the long-standing course record was broken. An additional prize of £50 is offered on top of the normal prizes if either the male or female course record is broken. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
