About the race
Coach D's Backyard Ultra and Trail Race is held at Ken Reid Conservation Area in Lindsay, Ontario. The event offers three race options: 6-hour, 12-hour, and 24-hour backyard ultras. The 24-hour race features a 6.7 km trail loop that runners must complete every hour, starting with a cowbell signal.
Participants who fail to finish a lap within the hour are eliminated, and the last runner to complete a lap in the final hour is declared the winner. The course is a fast, flat trail with grass, gravel, boardwalk, and wooded sections near water, providing a scenic and challenging experience.
