About the race
The BIG BAD RUCK is an exciting endurance event held in the scenic piney woods of Northeast Texas, featuring various challenges: a 1-hour, 6-hour, 12-hour, and 24-hour ruck. Participants navigate hilly single-track dirt trails on a private ranch, completing a 3-mile loop. Each challenge offers unique awards, including patches and a jacket for the 24-hour ruck.
The event emphasizes self-sufficiency, requiring participants to bring their own hydration systems. Camping is available on-site for those wishing to extend their experience. The event promises a supportive atmosphere with aid stations, photography, and friendly volunteers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
