Ben Rinnes Hill Race

A 100 mile ultra starting and finishing in Forres, the Moray Way 100 follows the Moray Coastal Trail, Speyside Way and Dava Way through beaches, forests and clifftop paths. Entries are limited and the race has a 30 hour cutoff.

Teams of up to four share the full Moray Way route of about 100 miles, split into 12 legs with checkpoint handovers. Runners must be over 16, each must run at least three legs, and some sections may include night running.

A summer hill race at Bennachie Visitor Centre that follows the old turnpike before a rough ascent around Mither Tap and a formed-path descent via Heather Brig. The course is 6.4 km with about 365 m of climb.

Trail running weekend on the Glen Tanar Estate in Aboyne on 25 and 26 July 2026, with races through moorland, pine forest and beside the River Tanar. Distances range from 10 km to 55 km, plus family runs and a toddler dash.
