Beaver Trail 5K

The Beaver Trail 5K is an outdoor trail race held at Lagoon Park in Montgomery, Alabama. This event takes place on the Lagoon Park Trails, starting and finishing at the Pete Peterson Lodge. This edition marks the fifth year of the race, which serves as a fundraiser for the maintenance and improvement of the local trail system.

The course utilizes the natural landscape of Lagoon Park’s outdoor adventure area. Participants who register by the mid-March deadline are guaranteed an event shirt, while those registering later or on-site receive shirts only if supplies remain available. After the run, an after-party is held featuring complimentary refreshments for participants.

Awards are presented to the top male and female finishers in the overall and masters categories. Additionally, medals are provided to the top three finishers in several age groups, ranging from children aged 5-9 to adults aged 70 and over. Packet pick-up is available both the day before the event and on the morning of the race at the Pete Peterson Lodge. Military members and first responders are eligible for registration discounts.
