Bath Skyline

Bath Skyline is an off road event held around the Bath Skyline, offered in both night and day formats. The event includes marked trail routes that pass through woodland trails, solid stone paths and open grass meadows, with some puddles and muddy sections. The courses are largely flat with a couple of small rises and falls. Night races are marked with glow sticks and reflective signs; runners must provide their own head torch for night events.

Distances available:

  • 500 m kids fun run during the day races
  • 5 km trail run
  • 10 km trail run

The 5 km has no drinks station on course; the 10 km includes one drinks station. All finishers of 5 km and longer receive a large two sided 10 cm x 10 cm medal. Races are started in waves of about 100 runners and entrants can select a wave when they register. There is a dedicated canicross wave during the day races; the course includes one stone stile and is not suitable for buggies. Runners may run with more than one dog but only runners with one dog are eligible for prizes.

On site facilities include toilets, a coffee van and a bag drop but no changing rooms. Parking and public transport options are provided near the University of Bath. Group discount rates are available for groups of 10 or more. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
