Bath Skyline

Bath, United Kingdom • 15-16 Nov 2025

Event overview

The Bath Skyline races take place at the West Car Park, University of Bath, BA2 7AY on 15 and 16 November 2025. The event includes night and day race editions and a dedicated day-time canicross wave. Distances on offer:

  • 5km
  • 10km
  • 500m (kids fun run, day races)

The routes run across stone paths, woodland trails and open grass meadows. The courses are largely flat with a few small rises and falls and include some puddles and muddy sections. Night races are marked with glow sticks and reflective signs; participants in night races must provide their own head torch.

Race format and logistics

Runners are released in waves of about 100 to reduce congestion; registrants can select a wave at entry. There is no formal cut off, but pure walkers are not permitted. Drinks provision: no drinks station on the 5km, one drinks station on the 10km, and water plus a selection of snacks at the finish, including gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan options. Min ages: 5km 12 years, 10km 14 years. The kids 500m has no minimum age listed.

Free on-site parking is available in the designated event car park. Bath Spa train station is approximately 1.5 miles from the venue. Buggy runners are not allowed; spectators are welcome around the start/finish area.

Facilities and prizes

On-site facilities include toilets, a coffee van and a bag drop; there are no changing rooms. All finishers of 5km and longer receive a two-sided 10cm x 10cm event medal. Prize categories are divided by age bands and gender; the number of awards depends on the number of finishers per race. There is no on-the-day prize giving because of the multi-wave format; prize winners are contacted after the event. Professional photos are offered for purchase after the race.
