BTR Ultra 2026
The BTR Ultra 2026 is the seventh edition of the Bali Trail Ultra, organized by Bali Trail Running. Located in Kintamani, Bangli, Bali, the event takes place from May 15 to May 17, 2026. The course is designed as a volcano-to-volcano journey, traversing varied landscapes including volcanic trails, dense forests, pine forests, and traditional villages. Notable locations along the route include the Batur Summit, Black Lava areas, Mount Abang, and Trunyan Hill.
Participants can choose from five distinct distance categories:
- 100K: 106.20 km with 7,244 meters of elevation gain and a 34-hour cut-off.
- 60K: 61.30 km with 3,819 meters of elevation gain and a 19-hour cut-off.
- 30K: 28.91 km with 1,205 meters of elevation gain and an 8-hour cut-off.
- 18K: 18.71 km with 880 meters of elevation gain and a 7-hour cut-off.
- 7K: 6.53 km with 257 meters of elevation gain and a 4-hour cut-off.
The event is recognized by international trail running organizations, featuring UTMB categories and ITRA points for its longer distances. Runners traverse through scenic and sacred paths, including Pasar Agung and Songan. Registration fees vary between local participants and foreign nationals.
