Baker Lake 50k - October 3, 2026

The Baker Lake 50k is an out and back trail run at Baker Lake, Washington. The course begins at Kulshan Campground, and the event takes place on Saturday, October 3, 2026.

The route leaves the campground on a paved road for the first quarter mile and crosses the Upper Baker Dam. After just over a mile on gravel, runners reach the trailhead of the Baker Lake Trail. The main trail is a 14 mile single track that runs along the lake with short sections into deep, old growth forest.

The trail is rolling with frequent rises and descents and several turns along the hillside. Mossy, slippery footbridges and log crossings appear along the route, and bridges offer views of cascading streams. Fresh fallen, multicolored maple leaves commonly cover the ground in the fall, and some sections may invite photos or short side trips along the lakeshore.

Campers at Kulshan Campground may use a free campsite the night before the run. Registration closes Friday, October 2 at 11:59 PM PT. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
