The Australian Alpine Ascent (AAA) is a trail running event held in Kosciuszko National Park, centred at The Stables Resort Perisher in Perisher Valley. The 2026 edition takes place on 14 February 2026 and is organised by Elite Energy. The event presents trail-running courses that use mountain terrain in the Snowy Mountains and includes an AAA XTRI component.

Race services include timing chips with results on event day, aid stations on all courses with water and energy drink, post-event snacks and recovery nutrition, finisher medals, event crew and traffic control at major intersections. The event is sanctioned with technical support and insurance through triathlon NSW. Additional event features mentioned include reusable bib fastening options (BibSnaps) and a commemorative trophy for participants who reach the summit and return in the AAA Extreme.
