Arrowhead Endurance Run

The event takes place at Arrowhead Lake Campground in Johnston City, Illinois on October 10 to 11, 2026. It offers multiple timed endurance races on a certified 2.07 mile loop around the lake.

• 24 hour
• 24 hour relay
• 12 hour
• 12 hour night
• 6 hour
• 3 hour

The course surface is about 99 percent gravel with a short concrete section at the boat ramp. Each loop has less than 50 feet of elevation change. Chip timing is provided by SoILL Racing.

Finishers who register before the shirt deadline on September 27, 2026 will receive event shirts. Every runner who completes at least one official lap in their registered race receives a custom medal. Buckles are awarded to those who complete 100 miles in the 24 hour race before the cutoff, and overall winners in each race receive a special award.

There is one large aid station at the start finish area offering standard aid station fare, electrolyte options, water, and hot food throughout the event. Aid station food is for participants only; runners with specific dietary needs are advised to bring their own supplies. Personal pop up tents and small aid setups are permitted on race morning.

Camping is available at the campground. There are local motel options in Johnston City and additional hotels in Marion, about 15 minutes from the race site.

Entry fees are non refundable and entries cannot be transferred to another year. Pregnant registrants may defer 100 percent of their entry fee to the following year. A discount is available for active military, veterans, and first responders. Littering leads to disqualification and inappropriate behavior toward staff or volunteers may result in disqualification and possible banning from future events.
