The Arrowhead Endurance Run takes place October 10-11, 2026 in Johnston City, Illinois at Arrowhead Lake Campground. The event offers multiple timed races and relay options, including:

Registration closes on Fri, Oct 9 at 11:59 PM CT. Entry fees are non-refundable and entries cannot be transferred to another year. Women who become pregnant between registration and race day may defer 100% of their entry fee to the following year.
Course, timing and logistics
The course is a certified 2.07 mile loop around Arrowhead Lake. The trail surface is about 99% gravel with a short concrete section on the boat ramp. Elevation change is less than 50 ft per loop. Chip timing is provided by SoILL Racing.
There is one large aid station at the start-finish area offering standard aid station fare, electrolyte options, water, and hot food during the event. Aid station food is for participants only. Participants may set up personal pop-up tents or aid at the venue on race morning.
Camping is available at Arrowhead Lake Campground. Several hotels in nearby Marion are about 15 minutes from the race site. Littering or inappropriate behavior toward volunteers or staff can result in disqualification and possible banning from future events.
Awards and finish items
Finishers registered before the shirt deadline of 9/27/26 will receive a shirt. Each runner who completes at least one official lap will receive a custom medal. Buckles are awarded to runners who reach 100 miles in the 24 hour race before the event cut-off. Overall winners in each race receive a special award.
