Antelope Island Buffalo Run - Spring Classic
The Buffalo Run is an annual spring trail running event on Antelope Island with views of the Great Salt Lake. The course includes rolling singletrack through desert grasslands and is run in the presence of wild bison that may roam near the route. The event began in 2006 with about 150 entrants and has expanded into a multi-distance trail festival.
Distances and approximate elevation gain:
- 50 Miles: ~3,428 feet of gain.
- 50K / 31 Miles: ~3,038 feet of gain.
- 25K / 16.48 Miles: ~1,687 feet of gain.
Entry fees vary by registration date. Early pricing through December 31 lists the 50 Mile at $210, the 50K at $150, and the 25K at $120. Later pricing through March 28 lists the 50 Mile at $240, the 50K at $175, and the 25K at $130. Race fees do not include Runsignup processing fees or taxes.
