Another Round 25k

Another Round 25K : Jockey's Ridge State Park, Nags Head

This event on October 10, 2026 consists of five consecutive 5K loops that together make 25K. Participants complete one 5K loop each hour for five hours. The course is a 5K loop with a shared start and finish and includes a small dune section.

Entry options include individuals and teams of two. Individuals attempt all five loops; team pairs alternate loops so one teammate runs three 5Ks and the other runs two. All loops are chip timed and results are based on cumulative time. Participants must finish each 5K loop within 55 minutes to continue; only completed laps are listed in the final results.

Event parking will be in the state park lot. Bathrooms and refueling at the start/finish are provided. A festival area with food vendors, music, and spectator space will be on site. There is beach and swimming access; spectators who plan to swim should use the sound-area parking. Participants may bring tents, coolers, and grills. Pets must be on leash and are not permitted on the 5K loops; strollers are not allowed on the loops.

Every participant receives a t-shirt, a custom finisher medal, drinks, and snacks. Awards for individuals and teams are given based on cumulative time. A portion of proceeds supports Friends of Jockeys Ridge. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
