Another Round 25K - Jockey's Ridge State Park

Another Round 25K is a multi-loop event held at Jockey's Ridge State Park in Nags Head, NC. Participants attempt one 5K loop each hour for five hours, totaling 25K, with a small portion of dune included on the course. The event offers individual and two-person team entries. Teams alternate laps so one teammate completes three 5K loops and the other completes two; running only a single 5K as a team entry is not allowed. Participants must be ready at the start line at the top of each start hour.

All loops are chip timed and results are based on cumulative time. There is an hourly cutoff: participants must be able to finish each 5K loop within 55 minutes to continue; laps completed before a cutoff will be listed in the results.

Event facilities and logistics include parking in the state park lot, available bathrooms, refueling at the shared start/finish area, a festive spectator area, food vendors for purchase, music, and beach and sound access nearby. Strollers and pets are not allowed on the 5K loops for participants. Every participant receives a t-shirt, custom finisher medal, drinks and snacks; food and beer are available. Awards are given by cumulative time to top finishers and teams. A portion of proceeds supports Friends of Jockeys Ridge. The field is limited in size.
