The Alabama Nature Center (ANC) hosts the Critter Crawl 5k and Yeti Dash, a trail running event benefiting the ANC's education programs. It takes place in Millbrook, Alabama.

- Critter Crawl 5k: A 5 km trail run.
- Yeti Dash: A 1 mile trail run.
Course Details
Both events are trail runs held on a portion of the ANC's 5-mile trail system. They start and finish at the ANC NaturePlex. The course is open for preview on the Friday afternoon before the race.
Yeti Dash Specifics
For the Yeti Dash, participants must wear a nature or critter costume. Those not in costume are not eligible to win medals. One medal is awarded to the first-place finisher in each age group category for the Yeti Dash.
Additional Information
A participant shirt is guaranteed for those who register before January 31, 2026. Packet pickup is available on the Friday before the race and on race morning. The event features music, food, and vendors, as well as a door prize giveaway and a trophy ceremony after the races. Parking is in the pavilion meadow.
