Course Details
The 1-mile loop is flat with minimal elevation change. The surface is crushed gravel. The course offers views of the park, and space is available along the course for participants to set up tents. Event Formats
- 24-Hour Event: Participants run as far as they can in 24 hours. It also combines with a 100-mile race option.
- 100-Mile Option: Within the 24-hour event, a runner's result can be counted as a 100-mile finish if they complete that distance, regardless of whether they stop or continue for the full 24 hours. Only one result (either 24-hour distance or 100-mile finish time) is recorded per participant.
- 6-Hour Event: This option takes place from 7 AM to 1 PM. It is described as an option for a first ultra or first marathon attempt.
Additional Information
The event is produced by Empower Ultras, a women-owned and women-led company based in Southwest Ohio. Packet pickup occurs at the park on the Friday before and the morning of the event. Participants receive a shirt and a personalized award. A belt buckle is awarded to anyone who runs 100 miles or more. Registration for the event closes on the Monday before race day.
