10Bay Challenge

Margate, United Kingdom • 7 Jun 2026

Event Overview

The 10Bay Challenge is a running event that will take place for its fourth year in 2026. It is set on the beaches of Thanet in Kent. The event offers two distances:

  • Approximately 15 miles (the full 10Bay Challenge)
  • 10k (the shorter 4Bay option)

The route passes through ten bays along the coast, running on a mixture of sand, promenade, and cliff tops. It goes from Margate towards Ramsgate before returning. The event is scheduled for low tide, which allows access to sections like stacks and arches that are not passable at high tide. The start and finish area is at Margate Main Sands.
