Zombie Run Gainesville
Zombie Run Gainesville takes place Saturday, October 24 at Waldo MX & Event Grounds in Waldo, Florida (17000 NE US Highway 301). The event uses the motorcross property as a haunted off-road survival course that crosses dirt, woods, open terrain, and obstacle zones.
Participants may walk, run, or crawl the course. Each person starts with flag-football-style life flags worn around the waist. Zombies are stationed in infected zones and attempt to remove those flags; losing all flags results in being classified as infected, though an infected participant may continue to the finish. Finishing with at least one flag is recorded as a Survivor.
The course includes obstacles, designated safe zones, water stations, photo spots, and Halloween-themed surprises scattered around the property. The event welcomes runners, walkers, families, and groups. Costumes are part of the on-site atmosphere and photo opportunities appear along the route.
