Yarrow River Bluebell 10K Trail Race
The Yarrow River Bluebell 10K is a one-lap spring trail race through Yarrow Valley Country Park in Chorley (The Yarrow Bridge Pub, PR7 4AB, UK) on 16 May 2027. The course is designed to showcase woodland and riverside scenery at the time when bluebells are in bloom.
The route winds through peaceful woodland, follows scenic riverside paths and includes several crossings of the River Yarrow. Trails are described as flowing and varied; trail shoes are recommended. The event is fully marshalled and organised by Trail Blazing Events.
Participants receive a bespoke finisher's medal. Prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers, junior winners, age category award holders and teams; prize giving takes place at The Yarrow Bridge Pub. The event uses chip timing and has a cut-off time of 2 hours 20 minutes.
The race is presented as a community-style, family-run event and is positioned as a spring trail option for runners preparing for other races or seeking a scenic run through the country park.
