Yarrow River Bluebell 10K Trail Race
The Yarrow River Bluebell 10K is a one-lap trail race held at Yarrow Valley Country Park with the event base at The Yarrow Bridge Pub, Chorley PR7 4AB, UK. The course covers 10K and has a cut-off time of 2 hours 20 minutes. Timing is provided by Trail Blazing Events and the event is organised by the family-run team Trail Blazing Events.
The route runs through ancient woodland and along riverside paths, including several crossings of the River Yarrow. In spring the woodland floor is noted for extensive bluebell displays. Trail shoes are recommended to help with the varied underfoot surfaces.
Every finisher receives a bespoke medal. Prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers, junior winners, age category winners and team prizes. Prize giving takes place at The Yarrow Bridge Pub; winners should be present to collect awards as prizes will not be passed on.
