XTERRA New Jersey takes place Apr 24 and 25, 2027 at Stokes State Forest in Sandyston, New Jersey. The event is part of the XTERRA World Tour and the XTERRA Trail Run World Series and includes multiple off road race formats across two days, including triathlon, trail running, mountain biking, duathlon, and a paddle adventure triathlon.

The swim for multisport races is held in Robert Rooke Lake, described as a calm, spring fed lake with clear water and a mountain setting. Multisport activities are based at YMCA Camp Linwood MacDonald for many race operations. A mountain bike is required for the MTB and multisport mountain bike sections; gravel bikes are not suitable for some rocky sections of the course.

Timing is electronic with ankle chips and five splits; results are distributed by email and posted online. The triathlon is sanctioned by USA Triathlon and observes USAT rules. Trail runs are USA Track and Field certified. Marathon trail run cutoffs are specified as 3.5 hours to complete 13.3 miles and 5.5 hours to complete 20 miles. On site camping is offered and a travel concierge service is available through JMC Getaways.
