XTERRA New Jersey - Stokes State Forest
XTERRA New Jersey takes place April 24–25, 2027 at Stokes State Forest in Sandyston, New Jersey. The program spans multisport and trail running disciplines and is listed on the XTERRA World Tour and the XTERRA Trail Run World Series.
Races are held across forest singletrack, rolling terrain, and around a spring-fed lake. The swim segment is staged in Robert Rooke Lake. The event comprises multiple race formats, including off-road triathlon, duathlon, mountain bike races, paddle triathlon, and trail runs. Course grading is published as easy, intermediate, and difficult.
Timing for multisport events uses ankle chips with five splits; results are posted online. The triathlon is sanctioned by USAT and follows USAT rules; one day licenses and annual memberships are noted in the event information. Trail runs are USA Track & Field certified. A mountain bike is required for the XTERRA multisport formats because portions of the bike course include rocky sections.
Event information lists 12 races and allocation of World Championship slots. The Trail Marathon includes published time cutoffs: 3.5 hours to complete 13.3 miles and 5.5 hours to complete 20 miles.
