Squatchy Onesiefest 5K
Squatchy Onesiefest 5K is a onesie-themed trail event on February 14, 2027 at the Ramapo Valley County Reservation in Mahwah, New Jersey. The trail party uses the NYNJTC Headquarters as the start and finish area and is capped at 200 participants.
The course is a 1.60 mile lollipop loop around Scarlet Oak Pond. Runners and hikers complete the loop twice for the 5K distance or once for the Fun Run. The loop is flat and non-technical, mostly wide gravel and dirt trail, with a singletrack connector under 0.20 miles. The course will be marked with bright ribbons and large directional arrows.
Included for participants are a bib with safety pins, a handcrafted finishers' medal, and access to an aid station with water, Skratch, and snacks. Awards are given for top three male, female, and non-binary finishers provided they are wearing a onesie.
The event notes no suitable public transit options for timely arrival and organizers can help coordinate carpools. Dogs are not allowed. The organizer does not offer refunds; deferral policies are available, including extended deferrals for pregnancy, adoption, postpartum, and community care. Adaptive accommodations are supported: guides and pacers may race free with advance registration and the course is well suited to all-terrain wheelchairs and ambulatory adaptive athletes.
