World's Longest Beach Run 2026
The World's Longest Beach Run is an annual 5K run and walk along the Long Beach Peninsula in Washington State. The peninsula stretches over 28 miles of unbroken Pacific coastline; the event uses the natural beach as its course and takes place in 2026 on September 19, 2026.
The event is open to all ages and ability levels and serves as a fundraiser for the Ilwaco Middle and High School Cross Country team. Proceeds benefit local youth runners. Every participant receives a finisher t shirt and age group awards are presented at the finish line. A post race gathering provides food, drinks, and community after the run.
Team entries are accommodated for cross country coaches through event registration channels. Shirt size is guaranteed for registrations completed by August 28, 2026.
